Xena Festival is a new grassroots aotearoa music and arts festival. Taking inspiration from south island underground music festivals, comes a new, north island gathering at the foot of the Ruapehu.

This is a celebration of aoetaroa, humans, music and the arts. Xena is a place for freedom, connection and love.

The festival is created to foster unhurried musical exchange and collaborative art. Performers share the stage across the day, with room for conversation between sets and music chosen for listening.

We care for the festival land and respect every attendee. The natural venue is kept open and clear, and everyone is asked to leave the grounds as they found them.
